  • Coronavirus Crisis Could See Chelsea Land Donnarumma In Bargain €25m Deal (GdS)
  • AC Milan may not be able to command a fee anywhere near the amount they would hope for if they sell Gianluigi Donnarumma this summer, a report claims.

The Rossoneri face another crossroads regarding the future of their prized shot stopper just as they did back in 2017. With Donnarumma’s deal set to expire in 2021, they must either agree a renewal ahead of next season or sell him this summer, so as to at least generate a transfer fee from his sale.

Reports have suggested Chelsea are most serious about landing the 21-year-old with Tuttosport even claiming they are ready to offer Kepa Arrizabalaga plus €60m in cash, but Juventus may be about to make their move.

A report from the reliable Sky Italia emerged last night claiming that Donnarumma looks set to leave Milan once the window reopens due to the complex nature of the aforementioned dilemma.

According to what La Gazzetta dello Sport are reporting on Friday (via MilanNews), Milan may fall victim of the coronavirus emergency that has affected the world of football.

The will of the club’s hierarchy is to continue the relationship with Donnarumma, but inside Casa Milan they know that without renewal at the end of this season, the only solution is a sale.

From this the Rossoneri can derive an important capital gain, but if before the request was €50million, now they may only be able to get €25-30m.
